CANDLE
A 3:37-minute music video created for the Naarm-based post-post wave band PETRASHEVSKY CIRCLE to accompany their debut single release.
Each band member was filmed on a green screen and digitally composited together. To add texture and a tactile, analogue feel, each of the 2,500 frames was printed, scanned, and stitched back together. Selected segments were also hand-drawn with pens and markers, giving the video a jagged, inky quality that evokes the look of old-school film projectors and early animation techniques.
